Hi,
Is there a way Delete valuation view after it was assigned to accounting principle?
we have 3 set of books and by default the system defined 7 valuation views to 2 of thr sets.
I m trying to delete one of the views from Fixed Assets Valuation View activity - but it failed.
Thanks

Hi Alex,
Unfortunately, when you create a fixed asset, then you have the valuation views already used. Then deletion is not possible anymore. I am not sure at the moment, if already the first accounting entry triggers the veto for changes to Set of Book.
What you can try, to remove the valuation views on production before you create any assets and other postings. In this case you have the configuration, but not used yet. Maybe that can work.
Best regards

PS: I even have soon a customer, that was so early in the processes and so unhappy with the several valuation views (and so other settings) that they restarted again. But this was before go live if I remember.

Hi Alex,
as soon as the first fixed asset was created, you cannot remove the valuation views anymore.
