Delete custom material type in SAP s/4 HANA public cloud

Dear Team

We created some custom material type by copying std material type . We want to delete some material type from the list but in sap s4/HANA public cloud ,we have not found any option to delete extra material type from material type list. Need solution to delete extra/unused Custom(Y,Z) material type from material type list.

Good day Rajesh,

as per the Configuration Apps document SSCUI_List_EN_XX.xlsm (accessible through Process Navigator here) you can validate whether the SSCUI in which you created the customer Material type supports the deletion of customer records (i.e. customer created entries). If this is not the case you will need to reach out to your central SAP contact for S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and he/she can support this request. In case you don't have a central SAP contact for S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition please drop me an email and I can connect you with someone who can help. Information about customer would be required in that case.

Yes , we have created all the material type by copying standard material type with SSCUI - Define attributes of material type. There is no delete option in the screen. Want to delete additional material type as users are creating material by mistake in this material type... also in production server material type list is showing unwanted material types in list.

The Deletion of entries in the Customizing Configure Product Types is not possible currently.

This is missing functionality . Please submit a feature request if you would like it added in a future release
