Define a settlement cost element for receiver type FXA

Dear SAP experts,

I have created a Internal order with investment as object type and posted some amounts in internal order and when I try to settle in KO88 ,the system gives an error message as follows:

Define a settlement cost element for receiver type FXA

Message no. KD506

Diagnosis

In allocation structure A1 (controlling area FN00), you did not define which cost element should be used when settling costs/revenues of the sender. Nor did you define receiver type FXA.

Procedure

Assign a different allocation structure to the settlement sender (-> Master data -> Settlement rule -> Goto -> Settlement parameters), or maintain allocation structure A1.

I have created a settlement cost element for receiver category:FXA and defined in allocation structure,but still the system gives the same error message .

Please help as how to come out from this issue

Dear,

You must have created a cost element with categoty 22 (external settlement) and map this cost element in settlement cost element for reciever FXA (fixed asset) in transaction OKO6.

OR you select By cost element in transaction OKO6 for your allocation structure.
