Hi Tapan

In SPRO there is option to Maintain number range intervals for personnel numbers there u have to define the Number range according to ur requirement.

In the NUMKR Feature u hvae to assign the the Number Range according ur personnel area wise

Exp: 01 00000001 - 19999999

02 20000000 - 29999999

03 30000000 - 39999999

04 40000000 - 49999999

Like this in Maintain number range intervals for personnel numbers and this should assign in the NUMKR feature

With regards

Hi first go to PA04 and maintain the different number ranges as stated above.

01 1 to 2000

02 2001 to 5000 etc

here 01, 02 are different number ranges.

In your case maintain a number range number 6 with a range as per your requirement.

Then go to PE03 NUMKR feature.

Create subnodes using Personnel Area with a return value as the number range number.

So in you case decision tree should look like should look like

NUMKR

-

WERKS

-

GUJ1 ( PA for Gujraat)

-

06 ( return value = number range number )

Hope this helps.

Hi Vikram & Ajay,

Thanks for your support. I know how to generate a return value for personnel number range in NUMKR, but the system must take the number range code as the return value. It is not taking that

Hi,

Please search number range maintenance in SDN Forum search.

You'll se you can maintain number ranges via PA04 t-code.
