Dear Gurus,
While I'm creating asset master system is defaulting one business area. I am unable to trace from where this business area is getting updated in the asset master.
As soon as I enter the time dependent tab I could see this default business area. I request some one to guide me how to avoid this update.
I checked all the configuration but could not find any where. If I create any new asset class then this update is not coming. I can see this value in the table ANKA (which is related to asset class) but in spro I did not find. We don't want any default business areas.
Thanks for readying my question and giving your time to answer.
best wishes
Sivam

Hi Murali,
Thanks for your reply, I didn't find any substitution rules.
My observation is if I check the ANKA table there it is already business area is getting displayed.
If I check the SPRO for asset classes there I did not find any business area field.
From where this field is getting defaulted I did not understand, the same value is coming into asset master data.
please check in OBY6 t.code
