Default/Auto settlement rule for work package for SAP Professional service internal projects.

Hi Experts,

As the process step, in SAP S/4HANA Professional Services Public Cloud Internal Project we need assign settlement rule for Work Packages/WBS element. This is basically manual task to performed on each and every WBS element. How can we default this settlement rule for public cloud Internal Projects. We have "Manage Settlement Rules - Projects" & "Generate Settlement Rules: WBS elements" Fiori app for EPPM project but this apps are not applicable for Professional service projects.

Can anyone please help me with API/BAPI/BADI or any other solution available for developing this rule default.

Hello Bhushan. Generate Settlement Rules – Projects app to generate settlement rules automatically.

Maintaining settlement rules manually is time-consuming and runs the risk of inconsistencies, especially for complex project hierarchies. You can avoid this by generating the settlement rules and parameters automatically in accordance with the strategy defined in configuration. You should generate the settlement rules periodically as part of period-end closing.

In addition you can use SAP Build Process Automation to Create and augment automatically assign settlement rule for Work Packages/WBS element. You can have the business process automation for Settlement rules and the objects assigned to them that govern settlements of expenses from WBS elements to their receivers.
