Is it advisable to set the global settings for currency without decimal
places in production server as we have already done transactions in
production server?
Our requirement is to round-off excise duties, Cess, Vat (all taxes).
e.g we want to round 4.59 indian rupee to 5 indian rupee and not as
4.6 indian rupee
Kindly reply Immediately.
Yusuf
I agree, you shouldn't change currecy decimal after go live.

Hi Yusuf,
No! Never change the decimals after go live. However your requirement can be met by changing the pricing procedure that you use for the condition records (Think the alternate key should be fiddled around with). I also remember there is a note released by SAP for this. Contact your MM or SD consultant for this. They will be able to work with the ABAPER to solve this issue.

Hi Yusuf
The Global settings for currency should not be changed at this stage when you have already trasnactions. It will cause inconsistencies.
Thanks
