Deactivating or Hiding map from home screen of SAP Service and Asset Manager application

Using config, the GEF can be disabled. My question is whether this will impact the maintenance order processing at the S/4 backend. Assuming the GEF is not being used for locating technical objects.

Or, it would be great if the map can be removed from home screen. Using the personalization settings in the app and setting the view to New or Classic does not hide map.

Any help would be appreciated..!

Hi, you need to go into the Component Assignments section in the Config Panel and disable the 

CA_GEOSPATIAL_INFO_SERVICE feature. This will hide the Map from the Overview screen and remove the menu item from the Side Menu.
