Dear Gurus,
We need to deactivate the PO release strategies for a large scale of companies.
For the solutions, I'm thinking if we can just set the status of the release strategy Classification status from 1 Released to 2 Locked, instead of deleting all the customizing following the guide in the note 365604 - FAQ: Release strategies in purchasing.
My question is: for these 2 solutions:
1. set the status of the release strategy Classification status from 1 Released to 2 Locked
2. delete all the release procedure customizing on the sequence of (1) release strategy (2) release indicator (3) release codes (4) release group (5) corresponding class
Do they have any different impact for the result of deactivating PO release and why?
BTW: Due to my test result, the 1 solution could already achieve the goal - the PO approval steps are gone.
So, I'm thinking this SOFT deactivation works fine, why need to delete the customizing.
Thanks in advance,
Alex
