DDMRP - Incorrect ADU Calculation

Good afternoon,

I have came across a problem in DDMRP (S4/Hana 1809). According to the app "Manage Buffer Levels" the ADU for my product is zero. I find that strange as I have goods issues in the past (blue bars).

Any idea how I can solve this? Where can I trigger the ADU calcuation? Where can I define the ADU horizon (in the screenshot above this seems not correct)?

Thank you very much in advance

Martin

Hello Team,

I am also facing the same issue. Could you please add some more details about issue resolution if possible. In my case

Mass Maintenance of products (DD) was resolved by adding a missing element -> it would be great help if you could add some more details

Buffer calculation Issue is resolved. There was a filter not meeting the condition. When I put right filter I could see the results.-> could you please add some more details which will help to resolve issue.

Anyhow, I am not much clear on the sequence of when ADU will be calculated.

Thanks in advance.

Details:

I have posted good's issue using 201 movement for past 9 days and later on set up D1/H1 in material master. Manager buffer level app indicates ADU zero. Should I need to post good's issue again after making D1/H1 changes in MRP ?

Number of Days (Past): 009

I am facing similar issue. For the last 1 month, I was doing lot transactions for the materials to implmement DD MRP. Today, when I run DD MRP following happened:

1. Schedule Product classification completed successfully

2. Mass Maintenance of Products (DD) is not opening. I got error message "Unable to load the data. This can happen if you are not connected to the Internet, or if an underlying system or component is not available."... Internet is not the problem, as other apps are workng properly from Fiori launchpad. Please guide me on "if an underlying system or component is not available" (Before running "Mass Maintenance of products (DD)", I did not update MRP type (D1) and Lot size (H1). I was planning to update in this app.

3. Then, I manually maintained MRP type (D1) and lot size (H1). There, I got message that "ADU for the Product xxxxxx Plant 1710 MRPArea 1710 is zero". I checked consumption details in table MVER and the consumption is there. But when I checked the details in table PPH_DD_STPR_DETS, ADU is not updated.

- Is it because I did not cmplete the step "Mass Maintenance of products (DD)?" OR

- Should there be consumption of the material from the date of updating MRP type (D1) and Lot Size (H1)?

Kindly advise.

Hello,

Definition of ADU is Average of Goods Issue & Planned Independent Requirement (PIR) for a defined period.

  • If horizon is 100 days then it will be sum of Goods Issue for past 100 days + Sum of PIR for future 100 days divided by 200 (100 + 100).

In App Schedule Buffer Proposal Calculation there is an option to consider Rolling or Fixed Interval.

When used Rolling Interval, ADU will change for future Buckets. When using Fixed Interval, ADU is not change for future buckets.

Hello Martin

In the Schedule Product Classification the ADU will be calculated and you can inform a number of days in the past for the calculation.

Hi,

Average daily usage (ADU) calculation based on products over a selected averaging interval, an interval that you set in the Mass Maintenance of Products (DD) app.

Once you update the interval run the calculations once again and check the results.
