Date & time display according to user time zone (in document and change log display)

Description:

EN: Via transaction SU3, the SAP-users can configure the personal time zone but the configuration doesn´t take effect on all apps.

Some applications for sales documents aren´t considering the personal configuration of the user’s time zone but the system time zone regardless of whether the user has changed the personal time zone.

For international users is relevant to display the documents (sales orders, deliveries, etc.) with the corresponding local time zone. For Instance, on the log of changes document for sales orders, the system time isn´t being converted to the user time zone and causes confusion when analyzing or tracking events on sales documents chronologically. Some applications like the “document flow” convert it to user time but others like “changes document” not.

So, in case the user’s time zone is different to the system time zone, before displaying the dates and times should be converted.

The question would be, if SAP plans, in the short term, to provide a global solution to repair the wrong behaviour with the personal timezone or is a workaround available to be considered ?
