Dear SAP support Team,

We require a consolidated report covering the following fields: Material, Plant, Storage Location, Warehouse Number, Batch, BIN, Stock Type and Stock.

Kindly suggest the standard SAP application or CDS view or query for reporting this data.

Dear SAP Community,

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud provides several applications for stock visibility, but none delivers all required fields—material, plant, storage location, stock type, warehouse number, and bin details—in a single consolidated report. The Stock – Multiple Materials app covers basic inventory information, while Display Storage Bin and the Warehouse Monitor provide warehouse and bin-level visibility. These need to be used together, as the stock app does not include warehouse details.

Available CDS views (such as I_SerialNumberStockSegment, I_ML_BALANCE, and I_ProductStorageLocation) also cover only part of the dataset and cannot generate a unified report through standard functionality.

To achieve full visibility, the recommended approach is to combine the existing SAP applications:

  • Use Stock – Multiple Materials for core stock data.
  • Use Display Storage Bin or the Warehouse Monitor APPs for warehouse/bin information.
  • Correlate the data manually when both views are needed together.

If a unified report is required, a custom CDS view or an enhancement request via Customer Influence may be considered, since no standard solution currently provides all fields in one output.

For implementation, ensure the correct business roles are assigned (e.g., SAP_BR_INVENTORY_MANAGER, SAP_BR_WAREHOUSE_CLERK) and retrieve warehouse details through the bin display applications.
