Dangerous and no dangerous goods

I need to introduce a field for every material that indicates if it is a dangerous good or not.

Where can i do it?

Hi,

In Matl master , Under basic data 2 , Check DG indicator profile under Environment.

Refer the help tips provided for that field.

Dangerous Goods Indicator Profile

Alphanumeric key that uniquely identifies the dangerous goods profile.

Use

You use dangerous goods indicator profiles to control applications for dangerous goods.

A dangerous goods indicator profile for the material master consists of a combination of indicators, for example:

o Relevant for dangerous goods

o Execute dangerous goods check

o Output dangerous goods documents

thank you very much, but i think that i didn´t write fine that i really need.

i need to identify the material as a hazardous material, not as a dangerous good.

can you help me? I know that in MM01 -> Plant Data/stor. 2, exist a field "hazardous material number" but i think that it is not that i need.

Pl refer "Haz metrial number" field under Plant data / Stor 1 tab.

Hazardous material number

Number that identifies the material as a hazardous material or as dangerous goods and assigns hazardous material data or dangerous goods data to it.

Use

The hazardous material number indicates that the material is dangerous, making special precautions necessary for its storage and shipment.
