Customize PO Print template

Hi,

I am doing a customized PO Print template. my system is L2 system. I want to confirm two things:

1.I checked my CBC, I found there is no content template linked to master template about PO. so is it a  default value?  if form template is empty, my PO content template will auto-linked to the default master template?

2.What the "number" usage? If I create a new entire and use a smaller number, would system use my one not the default one?

Thank you for your question. let me address your two points:

1. Form Template vs. Master Form Template

• Please note that in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the Master Form Template (e.g. YY1_SOMU_FORM_MASTER_A4) provides the overall layout such as header, footer, logo and sender address.
• The Content Form Template for example PO form provides the business-specific data and structure.
• If the field Form Template is empty in your rule, the system will take the default content form template assigned for that business object, in this case, the Purchase Order template. It will automatically link it to the defined Master Form Template.
• So yes, if it is empty, the system will still pick the content template but use your selected master as layout.

1. Usage of the “Number” field

• The Number in your configuration (501 in your screenshot) defines the priority or sequence in which rules are evaluated.
• Lower numbers equals higher priority.
• If you applied multiple rules and they match, the system takes the one with the lowest number first.
• So yes, if you create a new entry with a smaller number (e.g. 100 instead of 501), the system will apply your new rule instead of the default one.
