We currently have a requirement to have multiple SAP Service Asset Manager (SSAM) mobile applications . However, we are facing challenges in managing a common configuration across all instances.
To address this, I am exploring alternative approaches that would allow us to implement independent configurations for each application. So far, we have identified two possible options:
1. Custom Personas
2. Multiple Custom Instances
While researching, I came across a blog post where SAP clearly states that using multiple custom instances is recommended approach for productive systems.
Given this, I’d like to ask if anyone has experience working with custom personas or custom instances in a similar context. Your insights into any challenges or limitations you’ve faced would be extremely valuable in helping us determine the most stable and scalable solution.
Additionally, if there are any blogs, documentation, or best practices available around creating and managing custom personas, please feel free to share those as well.
