Custom Field with association to SAP Business object

Hi 🙂

i like to extend standard CDS-Views with custom fields by using App "Custom Fields and Logic".

This custom field shoult use standard CDS-View for Master Data like I_Customer.

I tried using the type association to business object, but a business object customer is not available (the list of available standard BOs is very small).

How can i associate my custom field to sap standard master data views like I_customer?

Unfortunately, it seems to be taking longer than usual for your question to be answered. You might want to try an alternative route to speed things up.

Custom Business Logic allow easy exploration of extensibility. You can use this app to create your own fields and enhancement implementations to customize applications and their UIs, reports, email templates, and form templates. (Click here to learn more details)

Please see below steps.

1. Open the Custom Fields and Logic app. You can open the app either directly from the SAP Fiori launchpad, or from an extensible application by clicking Add Field in the UI adaptation mode of an application.
2. Create a custom field in the business context where it is needed. Create an enhancement implementation for the business context where custom logic needs to be run.
3. Edit a custom field. Decide where the custom field is needed and if it has to be searchable. Translate the field if required. You can also define the aggregation behavior of the field. Depending on the field type, you can choose among the following aggregation behaviors

I'm sure some of my "Custom Business Objects" started appearing in the drop down list.  But not got to the end of researching it.
