Custom extraction enabled CDS views in S/4HANA 2023 on premise

Hello SAP Community, Happy Friday,

We are implementing on premise S/4 HANA 2023: See system config attached.

As we have some 3rd party applications in S/4 Development System, there is also the need to build custom extractors for e.g. load to existing BW/4 and we planned to use extraction enabled CDS views in S/4:

• We only find online documentation to implement custom extraction enabled CDS based on defineView
• As we see from latest developments, defineView is not the state-of-the-art solution and will become obsolete as by AS ABAP 7.57, see attachments.
• Is there any future proofed way to build in S/4 HANA 2023 (on premise) custom extraction enabled CDS views (using defineViewEntity or similar)?
