Currency USD provided is incorrect for Product MCOBL-COA Valuation

when simulate  migration object- "product" in SAP S/4HANA cloud public ,error message Currency USD provided is incorrect for Product MCOBL-COA Valuation 0003, Currency USD provided is incorrect for Product MCOBL-COA Valuation 0003.   What is the problem? I tried to change currency to CNY, Still can't work. Same error .

I recommend you consult Product,  Master Data Consistency & Currencies for more details.

The error you are facing means that the currency you entered in the migration template does not match the local currency of the company code assigned to the valuation area 0003. In public cloud, the valuation currency is derived from the company code configuration and cannot be overridden in migration. Please check which company code is assigned to valuation area 0003 and use that company’s local currency in your valuation data sheet. Once you have aligned it, the error will no longer appear during simulation.

valuation area 0003 is a plant. Where can i check the local currency of this plant ?

Hi @maggie2

You can check which currency applies by:

• Opening the Assign Plant to Company code configuration and not which company code is linked to plant 0003
• Then in Define Company Codes, check the local currency field of that company code.
• Then use that same currency in your migration template’s valuation data tab.
