Crystal Reports Alphanumeric Field in Barcodes

Hi All,

im editing a Layout for a customer, and i found out that the Barcode in CR is not being scanned right when it contains letters and Numbers (Alphanumeric) e.g ItemCode "HSF123".

The Barcode appears the way it should on the Layout but scanning it gives wrong informations.
i hope i can find some help here!

which Code are you using then?
i did scan them properly but the scan Result is weird it is different than barcode content.

CODE39 supports upper case letters. The test below scans fine (though I'm not using Azalea).
Do you scan the barcode below properly?
Does it look similar to the one you see on your report?
