Cross-company code revenue-generating projects

Hello,

we´re creating Revenue Relevant projects in Public cloud. It seems it is not possible to assign different Company Codes (respectively different cost center from different company codes). All are in one Controlling area. Is that not possible in Public cloud? I know that setup from on-Prem Systems.

Does someone have any experience with that?

Hello,

For "Projects with Revenue" it is standard behaviour that all WBS elements must belong to the same Company Code. Please refer to SAP Help https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/f369b2eff700401494ba6e7c9a573288/9a0de7da641f4b0885a1a686... which details this:

• In a project with revenue, all WBS elements must be assigned to the same company code. You cannot include WBS elements from a project with a different company code.
