i have been testing and trying out the Manage Service Order webservice in Bydesign from both postman and a third party application. So far i havent had any major difficulties but im still new to Bydesign and still exploring all the possibilities when creating requests with BYD SOAP api's.
When creating a new service order in the Bydesign system there is an option to create with reference to contracts. i have a reqirement where i need to be able to create service orders with reference to contracts from my third party application and want to achieve this via the SOAP webservice, however i havent been able to do so or find online if its even possible. I saw in a blog that the BusinessTransactionDocumentReference tag can be used to create with reference but i have yet to succeed. when attempting to do so from postman the new service order is created but with no reference to the contract.
Is there any way this is possible via SOAP api's?
Any help would be appreciated , or if someone could point me in the right direction it would be a great help, also apologies in advance if my question isn't clear, i would be more than happy to elaborate where needed.
