Create work order with different status in SAP Service adn Asset Manager

Dear all,

I wonder if it is possible to configure sap Service and asset manager to create in SAM a type of maintenance order ZM01 with status released and create another type of maintenance order ZM02 with status Open. If possible how to configure this functionality?

Hello Rafael,

Yes, this is possible. When you goto config panel, there is a parameter named 'AutoRelease' if set, the order status will get set to REL when created. But in your case, you want it to be handled based on order type, hence you would need to make the code changes to handle the scenario.

I have made automatic release configuration for the orders. Regarding the code change, would it be carried out in the configuration panel or i will need a dev to do this?

You would need a dev to do the changes from MDK/SSAM side.
