Costs tab is empty while creating the maintenance order

Dear Sir,

This question is related to SAP pm module.

I have created a notification for corrective maintenance through M1 type notification.

And through that notification, I have created order with PM01 type order.

In the costs tabs, & under the overview sub-tab, I cannot view the costs lines.

The first question I suppose is has the WO costing been set up in configuration? Value Categories created, Cost Elements assigned, etc.

Second have you added anything to the WO to calculate costs? External material, Service, Internal Labour hours, Stock components, etc.

If you config is not set up there will be no costs in the WO.

No, i have not done that work order costing configuration and also not added any thing to the work order to calculate costs

Do you know if the Work Order costing has been configured? Below is the the SPRO menu

This has to be configured before any costs can be displayed on a Work Order.

Try adding a Stock Material to the Work Order and see if the costs appear. If they do then the configuration might be set up.
