Hi everyone, I have a question for CO experts. We are implementing SAP S/4 HANA Cloud Public Edition and have come across a confusing scenario. Since this is my first public cloud implementation that is why I am unsure how to proceed. On conventional on-premise systems, the PM consultant would assign cost elements in relevant SPRO nodes for both material and service related scenarios. Now, on public cloud, I am told that the PM consultant does not need to assign cost elements because they would be automatically reflected in the given configuration of costing for maintenance orders. The chart of account has been uploaded in the system and the cost elements which are specified for maintenance order scenarios (material and service) will be assigned automatically.
