Cost Element Category Change in S/4 Hana

Hi All

Is there a way to change cost element category in S/4 Hana? I see that the system allows the change of cost element category currently in S/4 Hana 2020 however SAP suggests following-

a) Either make the change at your own risk. I am not sure why they allow this change if there is any risk. So we won't use this option.

b) Change validity period of cost element. For Example-Change validity end date of cost element to 10/31/2025 & create same cost element from 11/01/2025 to 12/31/9999. However this option is not valid in S/4 Hana so not for us.

c) Delete/reverse transactional data of cost element which won't do as we have lot of data. So this option also not for us.

d) Change cost element category before any new posting in new FY but after closing the existing FY which is practically impossible.

Any other option or work around from anyone? Basically we want to change from cost element category 11 to 01 as G/L with cost element category 11 doesn't work in allocation cycle (Tcode-KSV5).
