Hi gurus,
a bit unusual question probably, but I failed to discover an exact answer - I have a material managed as MAP (price control=V, price determination=2) which doesn't make it possible to record a standard cost estimate at the material level, even if the one is calculated (it remains as 'wo material reference' which is an expected system behavior). I'm thinking of switching the price determination to 3 instead of 2, with price control still V, just in order to switch the material ledger tables in, and have a chance to have a cost estimate assigned to a material and cost component split available for it. What do you think? What are possible cons to this solution, in terms of stock valuation in particular?

Pretty much aware this is NOT a recommended way to manage materials, pls don't spend your time pointing this out. I need a reasonable feedback on this particular approach constraints.
Thank you!
