COPA report painter KE34 - previous month/quarter data

Hi all,

I am making a form using Tcode KE34. In the form I need 1 column which show data of previous month/quarter to compare with current month/quarter. I am using variables as in the image below which means "period of the report - 1". I am having trouble with the case user want to run report for period 1 => the previous period will be period 12 of previous year. How could I create a column which can show data of current year & previous year according to parameter selection.

Any help in this will be highly appreciated.

in general data section you just need add the from and to  in the period and in the year selection give current and previous as a local object
