Control of user's data entry

User is requested to restrict the data entry for different users by hiding the tabs in product/ supplier master. Can the IMG configuration of “Maintain Field Selection for Data screens” and “Assign Fields to Field Selection Groups” in S4hana cloud public edition achieve this purpose?

Or any workaround that similar as ECC can hide tabs in product/ customer/ supplier master to control users’ data entry?
