Consumption of Raw materials not hitting @ logistic Area (Profit Centre), currently it is hitting BR

Hi Experts,

In SAP Businees ByDesign, we are facing an issue related to P&L journal entries which needs to be captured @ Unit/Logistics area, where as the acouting entries are hitting at BR/Site Level. Due to this, we are not able to track the materials consumptions/valuations @ unit/logistics level, as this is very critical for the customers business.

They produce multiple products @ different units/logistics area & the raw materials vary based on product & units. Below an an breif update of the org. structure & the business flow : -

Organisation Structure

Group - 01

Company

Company - 001, 002

Company 001 - BR-1, BR-2, BR-3, BR-4, BR-5

Company 002 - BR-1, BR-2

Company -001

BR-1 - Central Warehouse - RM1

BR-2 - Central Warehouse - RM2

BR-1 - Units / Logistics Area - BR-1-U1, U2, U3, U4, U5

BR-2 - Units / Logistics Area - BR-1-U1

Scenario -

Material Purchase @ BR1

Material Receipts @ BR1-RM1

Accounting Entry - Raw Material Dr (Profit Centre BR1), GR/IR Unbilled Payable Cr

Production Process

Raw Material is Issue from RM1 to WIP Area (Production area)

In Make Task, the Raw material is consumed & the accounting entry is generated

In Journal entry the WIP Inventory Dr to Raw material Cr, Profit centre is hitting at site level (BR1)

Requirement

Customer requirement is to view the WIP against profit centre needs to be displayed based on logistics area.

Kindly suggest if there is any process to pass entries against Logistics area or related reports where the user can view the valuations

Raw Material Cr (BR1)

Note –

The above mentioned Scenario is for one unit/Logistics area, similarly customer has 15 unit/logistics area & few more are getting added. Also they have different products being produced (Like snacks, cool drinks, biscuits, water, milk / dairy products etc.,) & the raw materials vary at each unit/logistics area, hence this is very critical to monitor their material consumptions/value at unit/logistics area level
