Constraint net cannot be deleted

Usecase for deleting the constraint net:

First create a dependency net (aka constraint net aka CN)

App: PMEVC (GUI-App)

Save

 Then create constraint into the new CN

Then release constraint and CN and save

Later, the CN can be removed from profile:

Works fine, on a first glance:

 App: CT04 (GUI-App)

However, the cstic AVC_ROBO_TYPE is still existent in the where-used list:

Now trying to cleanup:

When double clicking the CN AVC_RBT_CN_TEST_001_A can be displayed:

App: CU03 (GUI-App)

Display mode works fine

However, when switching to change mode…..

Then the error occurs:

How can we delete no longer needed constraint nets to ensure housekeeping?

In S/4HANA Cloud we have the API  api_varconfignconstraintnet which has an Entity VarCnfConstraintNet

that supports deletion.
