Hi All,
I'm trying to configure the make-to-order production process with valuated sales order stock. I've searched for similar questions on here, but haven't been able to figure out the exact sequence of steps.
Could you please let me know which strategy group needs to be used in the material master, and the configurations to be carried out?
I tested using strategy group 20, but the stock was non-valuated.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Hello,
Valuated sales order stock we can make the settings for the valuation of the sales order stock in Customizing for Product Cost by Sales Order - > Sales-Order-Related Production -> Check Requirements Classes or check transaction OVZG.
For more details please refer these helpful links on it,

Hi,
you have to check which "Bedarfsklasse" BEDAR and "Bedarfsart Kundenbedarf" BEDKU do you need for valuated sales order stock. In doubt 046 and KEK search for the strategy group matching your requirements, give 25 a try.
Kind regards
Matthias

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I tried using Strategy Group 25, but I am getting the following message during sales order creation:
"Configuration not possible for material XXXX: Reason 3-->Help" [Message no. V1360].
From what I have read, the Material Type has to be KMAT in order to use Strategy Group 25. Could you please confirm if this is correct?
In my scenario, the Material Type is FERT. Please let me know if it is possible to use Strategy Group 25 with a FERT material that requires valuated sales order stock (make-to-order production). Would it be correct to use Strategy Group 50 instead of 25?
