Hi Everyone,
We are trying to test if allowing negative stocks will solve a problem our business is having but I cannot find anything pertaining to the configuration requirements for doing this in S/4HANA Cloud.
We have checked the 'Allow Negative Stocks in Plant' setting within Material Master Data but with that alone we still could not post a goods issue that would result in negative stock.
From the On Premise information I've read it seems more configuration is needed but I can't find anything explaining what exactly is required.
Is anyone able to help please?
Thank you!!

Hello Tu Biddle,
Hope you are doing great !
Negative stocks are allowed at Valuation area level and storage location level, to do this setting in Manage your Solution or CBC, search for Negative stock you will get the option of "Define general settings for Inventory Management and Physical Inventory", go to configuration step "Allow Negative Stock", you can set the check box for negative stock under Valuation Area and Storage location.
Also you have to mark this in material master Plant Data/Storage 2 View.
Thanks
