Configuration of SAP WM in S4 Hana 1809

Hi,

Can anyone guide me how to configure SAP WM (not EWM) in S4 HANA step by step. Please also let me know what are the business functions to be activated to work with SAP WM in S4 HANA.

Thanks for your reply. I know that the SAP may not support WM after that date. I came to know that, the same ECC 6.0 still applies to S4 HANA. If you have any further information on this please share it here.

As I mentioned - the configuration steps are the same as in ECC, just look for the corresponding topic in SAP help or refer to the WMS books (if you have some).

Edit: if you are missing some default configuration one possible reason could be that your system administrator did not create a merged client but just installed best practices.

You configure WMS in S/4HANA just like you do in ECC.

This means that you could look for books, configuration guides or old Best Practices documentation on WMS configuration for ECC.

It is probably worth mentioning that WMS in S/4HANA is available as Compatibility Package (this means that the use right expires on 31.12.2025). Please make sure that the client understands the implications of choosing this solution.
