I am a junior functional consultant for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition – Sales and Distribution. Another consultant has asked me to investigate a tax-related topic within Sales Orders in S/4HANA, and I’m still becoming familiar with the system. Within the sales order, in the tax breakdown section, is it possible to apply two VAT rates at the same time, for example 8% and 16%? Can this be configured based on location?
Is it possible to enter taxes manually, or is it fully dependent on the Business Partner master data? I’m based in Mexico. Thank you for your support!

As long as you have two condition types for tax in your pricing procedure, and proper condition record is in place for different combination, yes, system will consider different tax percent in sales order but for different line items. One line item or material cannot have two tax percentage.
