Hello Experts,
for the "old" SD bonus rebate agreements there was a function to change the currency, in which the accruals were reversed:
Is there something similar for the "new" condition contract / settlement management in S4 ?
Problem:
Accruals are build during invoice creation with accrual conditions assigned to each relevant invoice. In all situations, where we are using invoice currency not equals to local currency of our legal entity, the system converts the accruals by using convertion rate which is relevant to single document.
This leads to the situation that after final settlement, where the accrual clearance is handled with the conversion rate of the final settlement date, we still have leftovers in our accuals.
Any way how to solve this more elegant or to overcome this issue by reversing accruals always in local currency ? Instead of doing manual FI clearing posting at the end of the year ?
Thanks and best regards
Manuel

Hello,
There is no need to do manual FI clearing posting at the end of the year, because if you are using automatic settlement, the settlement run will reverse all open accruals at time of final settlement. If however, you are using manual settlement, you can check transactions WB2R_RAC - Reverse Accruals Customer Settlement, or WB2R_RAV - Reverse Accruals Supplier Settlement which can be used to automatically reverse any open accrual balance of the condition contracts. The last two transactions are normally run on contracts after their end-of-life, the goal is to remove any liability off of balance sheet accounts related to obsoleted contracts.
You can also explore a setting of the Settlement settings for Condition contract Types - Accruals from Sales - 2 - Local currency. This specifies in which currency the accruals data is transferred to the document flow data table (WCOCOF).
Hope this is helpful.
Thanks
