Component scrap

Hi all,

we implemented Operational scrap in a routing and next step is setup Component scrap. We have also assembly scrap on SFG level, which should be overwritten by operational and component scrap.

Operational scrap is working correct, but my question is, if there is possibility to setup component scrap based on quantities in Operations.

Example:

quantity on order is 260, plus assembly scrap = 400

Also operational quantity is calculated correctly, is lower and lower in next step as process proceed

but component quantities are calculated from base quantity when production order was created(260pcs)

is there any possibility that component quantities will be calculated from reduced quantities?

Hi @michalkoska,

As per SAP standard behaviour, Component quantities are calculated based on the Base quantities maintained in BOM and the production order target quantities only.

Hello, its clear that component quantity are calculate based on component quantity + base quantiy in BOM and quantity on production order.. but it make no sense to request 400pieces of ROH material which is allocated in last steps/70;80;etc/, when there is not real to get this quantity of produced SFG in these steps..then we will buy more ROH than we actually need
