Component of dummy assembly not shown in production order

Hello Experts,

We have a situation where the component of a dummy assembly is not displayed in the production order as a part to be picked. The component is completely missing in the production order.

This material is pulled in the bill of material of the dummy assembly as Assembly.

The BOM and routing of component are already set to status 2 "locked".

Kindly help. Thank you.

Issue is solved..deletion flag was set in BOM for that component.

When you say dummy assembly why do you mean, Phantom item. what is the special procurement type in MRP2 view of the material master for this dummy material. Check if you can maintain 50 in this field.

What do you mean by BOM and routing status for components in locked, I think you meant say the production version is locked, it should be not locked for it to be of any use.

Please check the BOM explosion was proper. Planned order would have created already before the BOM component was added.
