Component Allocation for multiple alternative bom in routing in CA02

Hi All,

I am facing issue in BDC for selecting BOM especially when its more than alternate bom 1 ,is there a standard bapi/fm to do that smoothly,checked old blog also couldnt find useful bapi/fm using CA02

tried to use CX_ALLOCATE_COMPONENT_ROUTING this fm too but its now working,pls guide if anyone has done it

Hi, 

similar issue here. 

What we are missing is the window that is visible on your Screenshot, where it is possible to select from maintained BOM alternative. 

We have a Retail System if that should make a difference - 2 BOM Alternatives maintained, but the system always picks BOM alternative 1 with no possibility to intervene/change to BOM version 2. 

We cannot deactivate BOM alternative 1, because they could get used at the same time. 
Is it because the affected material is a phantom assembly?

You need to maintain multiple Routings for Different allocations.
