Hi,
I would like to join a standard datasource (FINGLAU02) in ByDesign with a Custom Cloud datasource (which I created in ByDesign).
Reason for this is because I would like to enrich the data from the FINGLAU02 with some data from another system.
The problem I experience is that when I join the two datasources (key on cost center) I get the message that the two fields are different types (see screenshot below) .
When I create the cloud datasource I dont see an option on creating an UUID kind of field, but only a Char or integer (see screenshot below).
Does somebody know how to make this work? Am I missing something?
When I try to combine the two datasources instead of joining I dont get any errors, but the data from the Cloud datasource is # when I view the data with a report. So combining doesnt work either.
Thank you so much for your time and answer!
Kind regards,
Jeroen P.
Hello Jeroen,
Yes, it should be possible to combine / Join cloud data source with an existing data source.
when you create cloud data source, you can make use of columns reference data source and referencing data source key fields.
This will allow you to join / combine the cloud data source without issues with standard data source.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Harshal

Nobody?
Basically the question is: it possible to combine or join a Cloud datasource to an existing standard data source in SAP Business ByDesign or does SAP not allow this?
Cheers!
