collective orders and dependencies

With a collective order in released status I need the ability to break the dependency between parent and child orders. For example I may receive and ECN that eliminates a child component from the BOM or possibly a quantity change. What options do I have to "detach" this dependency so that I may make my BOM changes on the parent level order?

For the collective order, which just defined E52 (MRP2 View in material master data) in Semi-finished material, if you don't want to keep the collective order mode, you can change the E52 to E for the Semi-finished material.

Regarding to the ECN, you want to change BOM, for Semi-finished material and Finished material, they have their own BOM, you can change the BOM with ECN separately, thank you!

How do I modify the production order after it is released. All efforts appear to be locked out due to the dependency between parent and child with no way to break this dependency. .
