Hi All,
I'm working in Discrete Mfg Industry.
A Parent Material has around 20+ Child item as component in its BOM, all are with Backflush Indicator 'Always Backflush - 1'.
One of the ' XXXX' child component has shortage e.g., Total Production Order requirement is 15 nos and available stock is 10 nos only.
During Production Order Confirmation due to Backflush Indicator Goods Issue is posted for all the component. For component 'XXXX' goods withdrawn for 10 nos only.
In COGI, I expected the Goods Issue Posting error for this shortage quantity. But it was not there ( Let us assume, End-User has deleted it manually ).
Now the shortage qty has been procured and stock is available. I want to Goods Issue the 5 nos now, Guide Me.
01. Is there any possibility to call back the COGI error again ?
02. In Material Stagging Pull List for Production Order screen, noticed that an the component has correct value in 'Requirement Qty' column except 'XXXX' component, which has ' 0 nos' in requirement qty column. What is the reason behind this ?
03. What is tcode CO1P, will it work on this situation ?

Dinesh Kumar V.

Hello
It is not possible to recreate a failed goods movement after it has been deleted in COGI.
Transaction CO1P is used for a different purpose. In some cases, such as in cacellations or confirmations posted by BAPIs, the goods movements are posted in background (update process). In this case, when there is a locking situation, a record is created in transaction CO1P, so that it can be posted again.
If the record was deleted from COGI, my suggestion for you is to post the goods movement again.
You may also use one of the options described on the document below, in order to prevent the deletion of records on COGI:

HI ,
Reverse the GR and confirm it once again, or do GI without copying the details from order.
go to mb1a - enter order no - enter the component details and quantity. save.

Hi Dinesh, CO1P should work...even though the entries are not in COGI.Please check and revert back. Thanks Kishan

In Continuation,
CO1P is used to do the confirmation and COGI is clearing the incorrect goods movements.
If CO1P is execute this, either it will do the auto GR, backflush, actual cost calculations & HR data transfers will happen.
But in my case Confirmation is already completed in CO11. So What would be the use of Co1P ?

Hi Kishan,
Then I have the following question,
01. My component is set to 'Always Backflush' at this situation will the system allows manual GI posting ?
02. How to prove that end-user have deleted the COGI error manually ?
03. In CO03 --> Goto ---> Material Staging Pull List, Next Screen ---> Requirement Qty Column is ZERO nos for shortage component only (in our case 'XXXX' comp), on other-hand, for other Components, Required Qty = Requested Qty. Why ?

Dinesh V.
