When we select Edit Line Items to add/change the BP Bank Account in the customer line items app we get the below error
"It is not possible to change BP Bank Account for line item".
It's for an incoming payment, Journal Entry Type DZ,
I could also not change for ZP, SA and SU but I could for RV and all our custom billing engine journal entry types.
Do you know why this error occurs? Is there a block in the system for these journal entry types?
Thanks
Nathan

Hi Nathan,
just to add to it. It could be controlled in a manner as explained by you for the below business context, it allows changes to the BP Bank Account field if the document type is an Invoice(DR,RV) or Credit memo(DG,RV) and the corresponding posting keys that it uses (already replied by Aswathi).
DZ is a payment document so after the posting is made, there must be a check to make sure that the bank information can’t be changed for audit trail purposes. When you post incoming payment, the system uses default document type DZ and once fields are populated with sensitive values, it’s disallowed from making changes.
The same will go for document type ZP as its payment posting for outgoing payments. I believe it’s the same concept as DZ. SA and SU are generally used for regular GL posting documents and not for payments or invoice entry. Hence that could be the reason for settings in your system.

Hi Nathan,
This is controlled by the posting key. The Bank Business Partners is suppressed for the posting key 15 and therefore can't be entered or changed.
Thanks & Regards,
Aswathi
