#CoE#GB Unable to Add New Condition Type to AXX001 Calculation Schema

Hi there,

I have created a new condition type and would like to add it to the AXX001 calculation schema. However, I found that I’m unable to add any entries to the schema.
I am currently working in the starter environment. Could you please advise what might be causing this issue?
Thank you in advance for your support.

Hello @Ashley_Hung

Thank you for your question.

Have a look at these references for more details.

Pricing Procedures, Maintain Pricing Procedure in SAP S/4HANA Cloud

In summary, the reason why you cannot modify the schema AXX001 in public cloud is, it is part of SAP’s standard delivered configuration and thereby can’t be modified directly. Considering the public cloud follows the clean-core approach, not being able to modify standard pricing and calculation schemas ensure they remain consistent and compliant.

However, you can include your new condition type by:

  • Copying the standard AXX001 schema to a new custom schema by using the SSCUI 101117, which is the Define Calculation Schema.
  • Then add your new condition type in the custom version and use SSCUIs 101118 & 101119 to assign it to your purchasing organisation.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Best regards

Chris
