Dear Team
I have added the Non Project relates task types - in Config your Solution SSCI 101864- They are sorted alphabetically according to the task type we noticed. We are happy with that and expected that the list will appear exactly like that when opening Manage My Timesheet App but it is not the case. The list appear differently and the list differs per user, for me the list start with tasks type that start with P, for another user they start with M
I have attached the list added in Config and screenshots from Manage My Timesheet from different users.
Please advise how do we get the list to appear alphabetically in Manage My Timesheet as it is appearing in Config.
The other thing I need your help and guidance with is if we have a Task Type that has been used in production but we now don't need to use and see it when opening Manage My Timesheet. is there a way to hide the task from appearing on the users List?
Thank you for your assistance always.
Kind regards,
Angelina Ramaisa

Dear @Javier
I thought I should give you an update. I raised a ticket and processors responded - the sorting of the Non-Project related tasks based on Alphabetical Order is not supported as of now. If business needs it I will have to log it as an improvement request.
Thank you.
Regards,
Angelina
Hi aramaisa - For you query on Task Type you can delete a task type form configuration (q system) and push this over to (p system). Please make sure that there are no open postings or approvals pending for the task type.
For the tasks type display I will reach out to our colleagues in HR team and will respond asap. Thanks for your patience.
Regards,
Junaid

Hi @Junaid
thank you for your assistance - I noted that task type can be deleted only if it is not used in Prod system and that Standard task types cannot be deleted. The task types I am asking about have been used in Prod system and some are Standard task type that we have rename since they cannot be deleted.
The business need them there for reporting purpose since they have been used. We'll be happy if those can be hidden the from appearing on the dropdown list.
Kind regards
Angelina Ramaisa
