Good day! May I ask if there is a way to extend the application "Maintenance Order Cost - Plan/Actual" to include a custom field and populate it via BadI?

Yes, it is possible to extend the Maintenance Order Cost - Plan/Actual application in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, but the approach depends on your deployment model: For SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition,Recommended Steps as below:

1.Identify the Data Source:

• Determine which CDS view or table feeds this application
• Common objects: I_MaintenanceOrder, I_MaintenanceOrderCost

2.Check Available Extension Points:

• Use Extensibility  Explorer→Custom Fields and Custom Logic
• Search for Maintenance Order; business objects

3. BadI Implementation:

• Look for BadIs like BADI_PM_ORDER_*(Maintenance Order related) or cost-related BadIs
• Implement population logic in the appropriate BadI method
