Code List fields not showing description in "Manage Journal Entry" but showing in "Display Line Items in General Ledger"

Dear Experts,

I have added custom field using Custom Fields and Logic of type Code List and enabled this field for SOAP API. Now we're posting the Accounting Document by passing code value in the field to S4Hana Cloud. When we access the document in "Manage Journal Entry" it's showing code only but not related description. When we view same document "Display Line Items in General Ledger" it's showing values in both the fields. Screenshot attached. Please review.

Hello Irfan,

I think that our Finance colleagues can help you better than S/HANA Service. I mean, they should know if there is some kind of restriction or you need to do futher actions in the BADIs.

Did you try the S/4HANA Finance forum ??

Hi Silvia,

No i didn't tried. But SAP has replied that they have some technical issue in "Manage Journal Entries" app itself. It'll be fixed in next release.

so in two weeks you will be able to display the description. I didn't know this retriccion.

Next time, make your questions in the Community where the Apps belongs . In this way, you have a better chance of get good answers.
