CO11N quantity column should be gray out for specific users

I want to Gray out Quantity field in co11n screen for users

Hi Chandran,

I Already Tried this but couldn't able to save it properly as it was asking about the Package for saving it and I created Package and assigned but we create TR and Move TR Dev to Quality Server after releasing and STMS_Import the changes are not getting reflected accordingly.

Changes which have been done Quantity Gray out is not happening properly.

So I asked the same Query related to this. Kindly do the needful if any alternate solution if you have since Iam trying this from long time.

Hi Ram,

I would request you to take help of Technical Consultant for getting this done. No need to create an Exclusive Package for this, an already existing one would have sufficed. Am pretty much sure you would have missed with any of the steps in between that's the reason its not working.

Was it working in DEV properly ?

And I must say there is no other best option for this, getting this done via any Implicit Enhancement might get wiped off during upgrade and when we have such a perfect solution in place then we should not go for code changes.

Hi Ram,

I guess you have raised a similar question before as well and I would say the solution is with SHD0 only.

If you see the last part of the below blog you can see "User Assignment", there you can assign the users for whom and all you want this Screen Characteristics to be enabled. The requirement I had was exactly the same to counter COGI related issues.
