CO10 : CO684 - You cannot make an assignment to make-to-order stock

Experts,

When I try to create a production order using a WBS element in transaction CO10, I receive the error message CO684 - "You cannot make an assignment to make-to-order stock." Since I come from an SAP PEO background, I would appreciate your guidance on resolving this SAP standard issue. Thanks

I have applied SAP Note #723180 to check if it resolves the issue. However, the issue still persists when creating an order against the WBS element using transaction CO10 or CO01.Thanks for any support.

Did you already perform the checks of 1929029 - FAQ: Settlement rules in production order for your case?

• Check whether the settlement profile permits settlement to the required recipient.
• There must only be one mandatory recipient in the settlement profile.
• Check the material type of the header material. The system can only create a settlement rule automatically if the material is managed with values (see Customizing transaction OMS2).

Thanks for your response! I have already performed the necessary checks, and everything appears to be in order. In fact, I am using the standard settlement profile PP01. Please let me know if any additional checks are required. Thank you!
