CO-PA characteristics not assigned to settlement document

Dear community,

I created a project and WBS element by project builder (CJ20N) and set the characteristics of the profitability segment.

Next, I posted the cost to that WBS element by supplier invoice (FB60). This journal entry had both WBS elements and characteristics.

I then run the results analysis and settlement of the project (KKA2 -> CJ88). The journal entry created from that settlement has WBS elements but the characteristics are blank.

Can I also set the characteristics by the settlement?

What version of SAP are you running? ECC or S/4HANA?

We are using S/4HANA 2021.
