Hi,
I am planning to do client refresh on existing client. I know how to do it (sccl, selecting profile). Any other important things needs to be cosider like any parameter chages or some thing else.
Hi Prewin,
Please try to give a clear scenario, Iam assuming that you are going for a local client copy for that you try to make sure of diskspace and table space (if it's on oracle).
Apart from this follow the bellow link which give you more details.

hi Praven,
client copy can be three ways,they are
1. local client copy
2 Remote client copy
Client export and import.
Local client copy:using the transaction code SCC4
first you can create a client as SCC4
next you can copy that Client into another ie 000 or 100 another through SCCL
after execution SCC3.you don't tick test run.if you tick that one,it only checks but not copied.
2 Remote client copy:
it can be used in LAN ie if no of systems connected it is easy to copy one to another.
using the transaction code SCC9
first ofall create a logical system BD54
after assign RFC destination ie SM59
and then goto Logon/security and login thai user clien and give connection
after you can open destination system and tick testrun
in this copy you can use RFC connection *
3 Client export and import:
export:using Tcode :SCC8
import :Tcode :SCC7
both are connect to STMS
if you are doing export client three files are copied they are
K0:For select
KT:Transporting
KX:Text files
at least two files are you will observe on that time,
suppose you are in DEV system ,you can copied this system control files and datafiles to Destination system
:I hope may be it is some useful to yours.

reddy
